Merivale Mall is a five minute walk from the Nurse Maude Simulation & Assessment Centre. There is a variety of food and drink places as well as shops.
A ten minute walk will get you to the nearby
Elmwood Park.
The park has a playground, a wide open space and picturesque trees.
Merivale is also a great hub for out of town visitors. Major Christchurch attractions such as the Botanic Gardens or the Canterbury Museum are only a short bus trip away.
